Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of MeldCrew — the space-sharing marketplace where businesses rent out the hours their space sits idle to vetted operators. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Using MeldCrew

You must be authorised to list the space you register and to grant access to it during the hours you offer. You agree to provide accurate information about your space, its hours, and its condition.

2. Hosts and operators

MeldCrew connects hosts (who list spare space and hours) with operators (who run a service in those hours). Any booking is an agreement between host and operator, facilitated by MeldCrew. MeldCrew provides a standard agreement and introduces the parties, but is not itself the provider of the space or the service, and is not a party to the booking.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not misrepresent your space, its hours, or your business.
• Do not use a booked space for unlawful, harmful, or unsafe purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service.

5. Payments & insurance

MeldCrew is pre-launch. We do not currently take, hold or process any payment for bookings, and we do not provide, arrange or procure any insurance cover. Payment for a booking is arranged directly between host and operator on the terms they agree.

Held payments and insurance-backed cover are in development. Neither is offered today, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise that either is in place. If and when they launch, these terms will be updated and members told before the change applies.

Insurance and your lease are your responsibility. Letting another business operate from your premises may affect your insurance policy and may breach your lease. You must check both with your insurer and your landlord before listing. MeldCrew does not verify your cover or your right to share occupation beyond confirming the space is yours to offer.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service over time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, MeldCrew is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform or any booking made through it.
